Field Day Fun!

Ready... Set... GO!

Field day is a fun event put on by the Phy-ed department at Century. Throughout Field Day, each student from every grade level gets to participate in a variety of activities including: hula hooping, jumping rope, sack races, tug-of-war, running long jump, softball throw, or running events at the track. They've worked SO hard in Phy-ed practicing for these events and they were ready to try their absolute best!

The best part was being able to watch each other and cheer our friends on. It's important to be a good sport!!!

We tried our hardest and are happy to report that each of us received a ribbon in at least one of the events.

AND to top the fun off...we ended our very first field day with celebratory popsicles! Yummy!

Thank you Phy-ed teachers for putting this together! What a fun event! And thank you to everyone for coming out to watch and support us!!!

"It doesn't matter if we win or lose, the most important part of today is that we have FUN and try our BEST!"
